Paint in Marrakech has to cope with strong sun, dust, and in older buildings, moisture coming through earth and lime walls. Repainting over a damp patch only buys a few months. Facades in the medina also follow the city’s ochre-pink palette, which matters when you repaint an exterior.
We prepare surfaces properly, treat the cause of peeling or staining, and use finishes suited to each wall — including breathable lime-based finishes for traditional walls. Owners abroad receive before-and-after photos.
What to know in Marrakech
Damp first
Blistering and peeling usually have a moisture cause; we find and treat it before repainting.
Breathable finishes
Earth and lime walls need finishes that let moisture escape, not sealed plastic paints.
Between bookings
Rental rooms can be repainted in sequence to keep the calendar open.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the paint keep peeling in my riad?
Usually because moisture is coming through the wall — from the terrace, a leak or rising damp — or because a non-breathable paint was used on a lime or earth wall. Treating the cause and using a suitable finish solves it.
Can you repaint my rental between guests?
Yes. Rooms are repainted one after another, with low-odour products where possible, so they return to service quickly.
Do you repaint facades in the medina?
Yes, using colours and finishes in keeping with the surrounding buildings. Check with your syndic or local authority whether any rules apply to your facade.
